Quality Share Surfer is a UK focused investing blog. Investing for me is an endlessly fascinating and highly lucrative hobby that I try to fit in around my day job as an economist.

The blog has two purposes. One is to share my ideas on investing strategy. I approach this from first principles and try not to take any conventional wisdom for granted. I aim to really ‘get under the hood’ of ideas to understand whether and why they should work, in order to gain a very clear understanding and fresh insight. The other purpose of the blog is to chronicle my investment decisions as they happen and to see how my strategy fares in practice.

I’m hoping that writing the blog will help me improve as an investor. Hopefully readers will find it useful too!
